Sula Community Clubhouse
Originally Built in 1915
The Sula Community Clubhouse is a log building, about 2500 sq/ft, with a complete kitchen, a large open main room, library, restrooms, piano and seating for over 60 people. After burning down in late 50's, the community raised the money and materials necessary to rebuild the new clubhouse in 1985. In 2007 the entire outside was refurbished through raffles and donations of materials and labor. In 2015. the inside was redecorated and updated.
In the past, the Clubhouse has been host to Elections, Blood Drives, Senior Meals and Fire Information meetings ~ especially during the fires of 2000. The Clubhouse currently serves the Sula Country Life Club, the Sula Volunteer Fire Department, QRU, Sula Historical Society, our local Church and Forest Service meetings. It is open 24/7 year round.
Currently, the expenses for Propane, Electric, Trash and Insurance to keep the clubhouse approx. $500 a month. That cost will go up if repairs are needed. The Clubhouse receives it funds from donations and rentals. All upkeep, maintenance and cleaning are all volunteer based and duties are performed by the dedicated and caring people in the valley.
Donations to the Sula Clubhouse are always greatly appreciated and can be mailed to: Sula Community Clubhouse PO BOX 86, Sula, MT 59871. The Clubhouse is a 501c3 Non-Profit / Tax ID #81-0486133
